Early Intervention Training: Resilience, Relationships and Toxic Stress. In collaboration with the Guidance Center of Westchester, WLS is hosting a half-day event for those working with children that seek to better understand social/emotional development within the context of relationships and early intervention for trauma.
The program will be led by Guidance Center staff. It will include a screening and discussion of the documentary film RESILIENCE: The Science of Stress and the Biology of Hope. The screening will be followed by an exploration of practical steps toward bringing an understanding of addressing childhood stress and cultivating resilience to families.
